On a beautiful day at Cedar Grove Acres in Creedmoor, NC, Julia & Dillon tied the knot!  With stunning surroundings, we chose lavender haze as our main color with navy accents.  The arbor was descorated with fresh garlands, roses, hydrangea and stock and for a little twist, we hung all the decor!  A custom communion table featured brass goblet and wine carafe and other essential elements.  Hanging side arrangements really brought out the color and beauty of the meadow at the venue.  When a huge rain storm moved in just before the bride walked down the aisle keeping them from saying "I Do" at the arbor, we did a HUGE pivot and moved the guests into the covered Pavillion which we had already planned for. Yet, another reason to have professionals on hand!

Though, it wasn't the original plan, it was so stunning and what we consider a "happy accident"!  They said their vows in front of our hanging cake table, adjusted to accomodate communion for the ceremony, with fresh florals and white draping.  Once the ceremony was over, along with the rain, guests moved outside for cocktail hour and back inside for the reception. Good Time Photo Booth provided some entertainement for the guests with lots of options for sweet and wacky photos! Dinner was amazing and catered by Virginia & Company with food so delicious we wanted seconds and thirds!

We chose to decorate the reception venue with fresh handmade garlands draped above the guests head with hanging globe candlelight creating a truly romantic setting.  The tables were arranged banquet style and gave the room a very elegant feel.  Cutting their cake on their custom designed hanging cake table was a creative way to show the gorgeous artwork of Laura Elgaard, owner of Confectionate CakesDJ Todd Moody saved the day, even though he lost some equipment due to the sudden storm, proving the true professional he is, was prepared with other options that worked beautifully and the party was on!  After playing the shoe game, he rocked the dance floor where the guests really participated and had a great time.   Because both bride and groom are in law enforcement, of course there had to be a coffee and doughnut bar.  What a great time and some amazing photos by the incomparable Dani & Clay Souza of Photos by Clay!
