An Evening to benefit the Pretty In Pink Foundation

The Pretty In Pink Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides life-saving medical treatments for NC men and women with breast cancer, who could not otherwise afford them.  Their signature Pink Pumps & Bow Ties gala has progressed over the years from simple luncheon to an all out elegant affair, increasing their ability to raise the much needed funds to help breast cancer patients throughout North Carolina.

Held each year at the Carolina Country Club in Raleigh NC, the event brings almost 200 guests from around the state in to enjoy a live auction, delicious dinner, short program and a chance to Fund the Need to support the Foundation financially.

Debra Morgan hosted the event for over 6 years, until the pandemic, and always brought an air of elegance to the podium.  Registration was held out under the porto chocure where guests could mingle as they registered for the event and then be led inside by beautiful princess volunteers. Inside a bustling cocktail hour included the Champagne Diamond Give Away sale, where guests could donate $100 for one glass of champagne and a 1 in 100 chance to win a diamond gift from Bailey's Fine Jewelry.  They could also look over all the live auction items for later bidding.

Dinner was a three course meal with a "bomb" dessert...literally.  The Chocolate Bomb created by CCC's pastry chef was a huge hit.  The tables were decorated with fine white linens, pink napkins and beautiful centerpieces featuring hydrangeas and roses.  Guests were treated to entertainment from "The Ladies In Red", a capella group from NC State University.  If you would like to participate in the 2021 event, simply click here.  PPBT2021
